Hard Disk and Flash Drive Data Recovery Services
Do
you have critical data on a drive but it won't boot, or it's not readable? Do
you have a flash drive with valid data you can't see or a memory card
from your camera or music player that can't be read?
Let
us try to recover your data. We
test your drive and attempt to recover the data with our industry standard
tools.
Drive recovery
is limited to OS 10 systems (SATA, ATA, Firewire 400/800 or USB type
drives) or flash memory cards (USB sticks, Compaq Flash, SD, Micro SD, Memory
Stick, etc.).

Just send your hard disk or flash drive to:
Pilot Technologies, Drive Recovery
11012 Jackson Drive
Eden Prairie, MN 55347
NOTE: We suggest you insure your drive against shipping loss or damage.
If your drive was password protected, please note the login ID and PW when
you return the drive. Include your email address and a daytime phone
number so we can contact you. A brief description of the problem as you
see it may be helpful.
We'll notify you that your drive has arrived and testing has begun.
When
we've completed our tests (usually within 1 business day), we'll
let you know what can be done to recover your data. If we can't recover any
data due to a failed mechanism, we'll return your drive (or destroy it if
you wish). There
is no charge if we can't recover your data.
If we can recover your data, there is a minimum of a $100
charge, and a maximum of $1 per gigabyte for hard disk drives. For
flash drives with a capacity of 1Gig or less, there is a flate rate
charge of $25. Flash drives over 1 gig the flat rate is $35.
If your drive is not reliable enough to store the
data and return it to you, you have the option of allowing us to
provide a similar replacement drive of sufficient capacity to store
the data and return the new drive and the old drive to you. In
this case, you pay for the recovery, the replacement drive and shipping
costs.
Example Scenarios:
1. A 60 Gig disk is received and found to contain 45 Gigabytes of
recoverable data. The drive mechanism appears to be fine and recovery is successful. Cost
for this recovery would be $100 plus shipping.
2. A 250 Gig disk is received and found to contain 200 Gigabytes
of recoverable data. The drive mechanism appears to be fine and recovery is successful. Cost
for this recovery would be $200 plus shipping.
3. A 250 Gig disk is received and found to contain 200 Gigabytes
of recoverable data . The drive is marginal, and cannot be considered to be reliable. We'll
offer you a high quality competitively priced external drive and move your
data to that drive and return it to you. The total cost would be $200
for the recovery plus the cost of the new drive and shipping. You
must approve the cost of the drive prior to the recovery, transfer
and return to you.
Return shipping options:
USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days), UPS Ground 2-7 days, UPS 2 day Air, or
Fed Ex overnight.
